Most memorable mixtape moment: 
When there was no internet and that you had to record songs on tapes while playing indie radio shows. 

A song you want people to hear and why: 
(That’s SUCH a hard one to just choose ONE song but for now:) “Sea Foam” by Land Of Talk, such an underrated band, and that song (and the whole album) conveys so much energy, emotions and beauty. 

How do you discover new music: 
As an exercise, I’ve been releasing a “FrenchBK mixtape” every month for the past few years, with new songs so that I can discover new bands all the time.

A song someone has sent you on a mixtape: 
“Feed me with your kiss” by My Bloody Valentine, it was a very long time ago but it changed my perspective on music forever.

Benjamin is involved in so many projects that he probably doesn’t know them all himself… He’s mostly a French visual artist, musician-singer-producer, art director & graphic designer. He shares his time between France and NYC where he founded the French-American creative collective FrenchBK. And lately, he’s been leading the visual thinking of the Innovation Cell at the United Nations.
